Made from laser cut matte black acrylic, this earrings hanger is handmade in Australia, where we have Striate Anglerfish aka Striped Anglerfish which occurs around the north of the country, south-western Western Australia and southern New South Wales.

Story behind the design
In the deepest depths of the sea, the Anglerfish shines bright, luring unsuspecting morsels into her welcoming mouth. Her bright lure is filled with bio-luminescent bacteria, and the females can grow up to 3.3 feet or 1 roughly a metre. A total unromantic, the men in her life are small, parasitic and almost an afterthought to this wonderfully weird denizen of the deep.
